TIMING TEST
Today you will be completing a typing timing test to see how your speed and accuracy are doing. After all this typing practice, its time to show off your skills!
1. Open up a new Word Document. Type your name in the first line of the document, in Size 12 Times New Roman BOLD font. You will be printing and handing in this assignment.
2. When you are reading, click HERE to get to the timing test. It will take you to a website that will do all the calculations for you. It should be all ready to go in the format you will be using, so when you are prepared click START. You will see a paragraph pop up on the screen, and you will start to type the words in blue. Once you start typing the timer will start, so make sure that you are all set before beginning.
3. When the time has run out, you will see your score. Take a screen shot of the score, and paste it to your Word Document. Crop it so you only see the scores.
4. Go back to the timing test website and complete this two more times, for a total of THREE timing tests. Remember to copy and paste your scores each time to the Word Document. You will be marked on your best time, but I would like to see all three scores.
5. Finally, print and hand in. You may then finish any outstanding assignments.

For today's lesson, you will be completing a Personality Test to see what personality traits you have and what types of jobs might interest you.
1. To begin, click here to go to the personality test. There are roughly 60 questions- try your best to answer them honestly and ask for clarification if you need it!
2. Once you are done, you will be given a 4 letter personality trait descriptor (mine was ISTJ) and a paragraph with all of your traits listed.
3.Create a Word Document. Your 4 letters should be the title, along with your name (example- Ms. Chisholm ISTJ)- Bold, Size 16 Times New Roman, Centred.
4. The body of the word document should be a bullet list of all of the traits you have. Each bullet should be one trait (one of the sentences). Make sure you spell everything correctly, and do NOT copy paste. (Size 12 Times New Roman Font, Left Align, Bullet of your choice).
5. Underline the personality traits that are most like you, and strike-through the personality traits that are least like you (all traits should be either underlined or have a strike through them).
5. Finally, click here to read a little bit more about your personality type. Specifically, look at the Careers section. Pick two of the careers suggested for you and explain in a short paragraph at the bottom of your list (NOT in the bullet list) why you would or wouldn't be interested in these careers. (Size 12 Times New Roman Font, Left Align).
6. Print and hand in.
